New peterpixel Design

Barely half a year after I made the first version of this site, I have decided to do a complete redesign. Won’t have time to do this when my internship starts at Lost Boys next month so I took the time I have now and completely redid everything.
A tip to anyone planning on skinning their WordPress blog, make life a lot easier for yourself and get an empty theme from Tommorrows Laundry, it will save you a whole lot of time. I have worked with a grid again, this time a 12px based grid. Columns are 144px wide and the margins 12px. All in all I am fairly satisfied with the new version. I have decided NOT to fix the layout for IE6 and I don’t plan to. IE7 should look fine though. Most of the pages are also valid, except some of the blog pages. It should also look OK on mobile devices.
On the right I have a little space for “ads” and if anyone is interested in having an image link to their site displayed in the sidebar, let me know (it’s free).
The old site:

Congrats on the new site =)

I’m also in the mood to re-design my site, I’ve already got something in mind, but it will take a while to make.
I just finished a theme I made for some one else…
there’s a live version here:

I started using the Kubrick theme (wordpress default) and modified that one, I’ll check out Tommorrows Laundry for next time =)
