New Home Page

My home page has been driving me nuts for ages now. It never felt “right”, as if not enough thought had gone into it. It’s structure didn’t lend itself for it’s purpose. It looked more like a blog than a portfolio. So, today I went back to the drawing board and came up with something that I felt was more like a portfolio and less like a blog. The structure for the blog won’t change though.

I have made a conscious decision to remove all colour, it gives it a much softer and easy feel but at the same time the rollover makes it a lot more playful. Plus: who doesn’t want to click a rollover image? I am still not quite satisfied with it (and will probably never be) but I think it is an improvement. One thing that I definitely want to change is the font.

Another small change: Added a nice big rss feed button on the blog homepage after Joel Laumans complained about not being able to find the feed.
